- Protect Your System
- Minimum and maximum setpoints limit the operation of the system to a range that best suits the needs of the application. Drainback capabilities and freeze protection features give you the peace of mind to operate your system year round.
- Intelligent Control
- This control comes with a 071 Universal Sensor and a 085 Solar Sensor. These sensors relay temperature information about your storage tank and your source to the 157.
- The 157, in turn, transfers heat based off of this information. Accurate sensor information goes hand-in-hand with efficient heat transfer processes for your system.
- Secondary Pump Control
- In addition to the variable speed transfer pump, the 157 will control a secondary pump for a variety of functions.
- These include circulating water through a heat exchanger, delivering heat from a supplementary heat source, operating a heat dump circuit, or as booster pump in drainback application.

For nearly three decades, tekmar has been providing zoning and control solutions for a variety of heating and cooling applications. Products made by tekmar can improve the efficiency and comfort delivered by almost any system. The tekmar 157 Difference setpoint control is designed to control the transfer of heat between a heat source and a storage tank. Monitoring the temperature difference between the hot water source and the storage tank, it is able to ensure ideal heat delivery by controlling the operation of a variable speed pump. The most common usage for this control is in solar thermal systems, but it is also beneficial in wood boiler systems. Regardless of your heat source, a tekmar 157 Difference Setpoint Control will provide optimal heat transfer to your system.
