Fuel Type
To create heat, some form of fuel is required. Fuel Type specifies what the product uses as an input to create heat.
Liquid Propane
Combustion Type
Combustion Type
Condensing appliances use leftover thermal energy from combustion gases to heat water in a secondary heat exchanger, resulting in higher efficiency and lower exhaust temperature.

Vent Type
Vent Type
Products that use combustion (burning) of fuel to create heat also create potentially dangerous gasses that need to be exhausted (AKA "Vented"). Depending on the product, venting can be done via a chimney, through a side wall, or use a second vent to provide fresh air to the appliance.
Direct Vent
DHW Production
DHW Production
DHW (Domestic Hot Water) is potable water for uses other than space heat. Some boilers are able to provide DHW "out of the box", while others can do so with the purchase of optional accessories.

Rinnai E75CP Reviews & Ratings
The Rinnai E-Series has to be one of my favorite combi-boiler systems out there. As far as ease of use, installation, and routine maintenance, it's hard to beat. I love how easy it is to install and to perform routine maintenance due to the optimized build design. For how compact these units are, they're very accessible - "getting to everything" won't be an issue for the average person. I'm also impressed with the E-Series boiler because it features a stainless-steel heat exchanger, single-speed circulation pump, outdoor reset, and includes a wall mounting bracket; features you don't always find on combi-boilers. The E75C and E110C come with a pre-assembled low-loss header with isolation valves which increases your overall performance by eliminating the need for balanced pump sizing.

Fine Combi Boiler, Installation Instructions Could Use Work
By Todd F.

Purchased 02/13/2017 |
Review Posted 03/09/2017
This boiler is working great, and takes up very little space. This is my third DIY boiler install. The other two went smoother since the installation manual was user friendly. When I did need more info, the Rinnai technical team helped me out promptly.

it's a 2013 yr model
By Julian H.

Not yet installed, installer will have time next spring for the installation. please note it is a 2013 yr model, not a newer 2015 improved model, and of course it's not the 2016 new 50CRN model.
I'm disappointed by the fact it's on shelf for 3 years. I was expecting a 2015 manufactured as I was told when I call the dealer before the purchase.
Regarding the performances and value, I will update after I have it installed by the local plumber master.

All Good
By Nathan W.

Purchased 11/29/2016 |
Review Posted 12/23/2016
I'm a DIY guy, and this is the first and probably the only boiler I will install. The instructions were fairly clear. And everything works. According to the internal digital and analog thermometers the water in the system is 176 degrees. I understand that's what it should be. So everything is good.
It was nice that the unit was so light, I was easily able to move it from the back of my minivan into the basement by myself.

Review Posted 07/26/2016
I'm very pleased with how easy the installation was and the domestic hot water is fast and plentiful. I am amazed as to how quick the boiler heats and circulates the water through the system, I am curious to see how efficient it will be come winter.
