Spun Glass is a rugged industry standard, known for low resistance while providing excellent arrestance and high dust holding capacity. This filter media is designed to trap dirt thoughout their thickness. A resinous bonding agent in the media increases rigidity and resistance to compression so the filter will not collapse in the airstream. The Flashpoint is 325 degrees Farenheit on the treated adhesive.
Flanders Bulk Filter Media comes in nominal depths of 1/2” and 2”. These filters are designed for industrial and commercial air filtration with fairly heavy dirt loads and are commonly used for pad and frame systems and hamock rolls.
