Grundfos pumps are equipped with the state-of-the-art electronics, enabling their pumps to regulate the output to precisely match the requirements of the application. Capabilities such as these ensure convenience for the user, result in significant energy savings, and ultimately benefit the customer as well as the environment. One of the reasons that Grundfos has remained in the upper echelons of the industry is due to their emphasis on customer oriented research and sustainable development. By collaborating with various sectors of the industry such as clients, suppliers, universities and institutions, they integrate the latest technologies within the pump industry. No matter the application, if you are seeking an effective and energy saving pump, Grundfos offers you the highest-quality solution.
The Grundfos 4.0 LPE 5/4.9 is an E-circulator pump. These pumps are equipped with Grundfos MGE motors which have features such as: built-in PI-controller, optional connection to external control signals, setpoint setting on the unit itself and can communicate with the Grundfos remote control R100. Through its frequency control this pump is continuously able to vary the speed of the motor, enabling the pump to operate at any duty point in the range between the pump's minimum and maximum performance curves. It also features a factory-fitted integrated differential-pressure sensor, which continually adjusts the pressure to fit the current demand of the system. This model is specifically engineered to perform according to variable needs and is ideal for use in large heating systems as: main pump, pump in mixing loop, boiler shunt pump, pump for flue gas chiller, pump for partial flow filter, pump in liquid-coupled batteries, pump for pressure keeping system and circulation of domestic hot water. These units are also a great fit for refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. Traditionally, the risk associated with refrigeration and air-conditioning systems is that the pumped liquid temperature is lower that the ambient temperature, resulting in condensation on the pump housing. Since the 4.0 LPE 5/4.9 is of the closed-coupled type, the pump housing is separated from the motor and electronic unit and is not affected by the condensed water. Due to its ease of installation/service and flexibility in performance, this unit is among the best selling pumps out on the market.Grundfos 4.0 LPE 5/4.9 Bronze E-Circulator Pump with Differential Pressure Sensor Features:
