The Grundfos UP 15-10 BUC7/TLC is a canned rotor type pump, meaning the pump and motor form an integral unit without a shaft seal and with only two gaskets for sealing. The pump features an Integral Check Valve that is designed to ensure limited pressure drop while preventing the flowback of contaminants. The timer control is designed to switch the circulator on and off at preset times, allowing the user to configure the operation of the circulator during peak periods of use throughout the day. This unit's bronze construction allows it to be installed in both closed and open loop systems, such as one and two-pipe heating systems, main pumps, zone pumps, boiler shunt pumps, pumps for heating surfaces, calorifiers, underfloor heating systems, solar heating systems, heat pump systems, geothermal heating systems, heat recovery systems, two-pipe air-conditioning systems and as pumps for refrigeration units.
