The Grundfos UPS 26-99 BFC is a canned rotor type, meaning the pump and motor form an integral unit without the need for a shaft seal. Instead, it uses only two gaskets for sealing. The pump features an Integral Check Valve that is designed to ensure limited pressure drop while preventing the flowback of contaminants. The bronze models can be used in both open and closed loop applications. These models are designed to circulate liquids in heating and air-conditioning systems.
