The Grundfos UPS50-240/2 is a canned rotor type pump, meaning the pump and motor form an integral unit without a shaft seal and with only two gaskets for sealing. The stainless steel impellers, rotor shaft, bearing plate, and rotor cladding on these pumps are corrosion-resistant and built to last.
