The Panasonic WhisperWelcome FV-08VFM2 Ceiling Ventilation Fan is designed to fit in 2" x 6" joists or larger. This fan doesn't sacrifice performance for size though, a totally enclosed condenser motor and a large, double suction blower wheel provides whisper quiet air circulation. Large amounts of air is circulated with the wider blower wheel even at reduced RPMs. A built-in damper also prevents backdraft, adding the efficiency of the cool running motor and fluorescent bulbs. The Panasonic WhisperWelcome FV-08VFM2 Ceiling Ventilation Fan also features SmartAction motion sensor technology whcih automatically turns on when you enter the room and off when you exit for maximum efficiency. The Panasonic WhisperWelcome FV-08VFM2 Ceiling Ventilation Fan has a Maximum CFM of 80.
