Since the cartridge contains all of the interacting parts, circulator and IFC maintenance is made easy and you don't have to replace the entire unit. Taco's Plumb n' Plug cartridge circulators are specially designed to conserve water, all while increasing comfort. This pump is able to cut down the time it takes hot water to arrive at outlet fixtures, by regularly re-circulating hot water through the system. On average, a residence is capable of saving up to 25 gallons of water every day, or up to 9,000 gallons a year! Thanks to the factory pre-wired 6 foot line cord, installation is a breeze. With the help of the Analog Timer, you can program the 003-SC4-4PNP to cycle during peak usage time such as early morning or early evening, resulting in increased energy savings. The 003-SC4-4PNP is ideal for systems that use up to 200 total feet (supply and return) of 3/4 inch piping. Simply plumb-it-in then plug-it-in!
