The Taco 003-ZBC4-3IFC is engineered to simplify piping, reduce installation costs and optimize system performance when zoning with Taco 00 circulators. Its main function is to protect against reverse and gravity flow. A low pressure drop caused by the spring-loaded IFC increases flow performance vs. traditional in-line flow checks. The pump is designed for the circulation of hot or chilled fresh water in open or closed loop applications such as: domestic hot water recirculation, hydro-air fan coils, heat recovery units, water source heat pumps, and potable water systems.

The Taco priority zoning circulator is the perfect combination of the reliable Taco 00 circulator along with the advantages of a PC board-mounted switching relay package. These zoning circulators have low and high voltage terminal strips to help with the electrical connection. The built-in priority switch is mounted directly on the PC board and enables you to specify the zone that requires the most priority. It is compatible with electronic digital thermostats. Typical application is for hydronic systems that require a zone to have priority over all others, but also include: In-direct hot water heaters, zoning with circulators, add a zone to existing heating systems, and under-sized zones that never come up to heat can now be switched to first priority.
