A.O. Smith ATI-310-N Reviews & Ratings

Works great

Replacing an older tankless. Works much better than competitor unit. No cold water sandwich to speak of. Quick starting of flame. Should have switch a long time ago. Much quieter as well. Wish it had more than 2 re-circulation settings.

I am not real happy with how long it takes hot water to reach even the closest faucet.Maybe all makes are like this but it doesn't make it any easier to have to wait 10 to 15 seconds to get hot water.

Expert Response
While it may seem like a long time it’s approximately 5 seconds longer than getting water from a standard tank water heater. There are circulating pumps that can be installed with timers or using an Alexa plug to turn it on and off that will take away that waiting time.

Love It

I was moving my water heater and installing tankless to get longer life appliance and endless hot water. I wanted recirculating pump and high gpm tankless. This was easy to install with solid core pvc venting (get the concentric vent) and the valve kit. Just make sure you have large enough gas line--max 30 feet run 3/4 inch with no other appliances off of it. I wound up installing 1-1/4 gas line in my setup.
