As an actively practicing commercial Architect, I recommend this product for improving long dryer vent situations. I continue to specify this fan not only on my clients' buildings, but on buildings I personally own and maintain.

Bought to replace S&P dryer booster fan. Much, much quieter. My S&P fan lasted almost two years. I'm hoping for much more from this fantech.

Great product but found the pressure sensor only works if the world is working perfectly! Meaning the venting must be in excellent shape and does not come apart in the walls or the power is a reliable source. This was installed in one of our customer's homes. Installation straight forward and worked well but then it became a nightmare. Multiple calls back and a real money looser.
We put it to bed by bypassing the pressure switch (and installed a voltage sensor on the electric clothes dryer cord. Booster now comes on when it senses voltage, off if it doesn't. The booster has to be installed correctly. The sensitivity adjustment screw was on one side under a plate. Our particular installation required this plate to be against a wall in the attic. When we where fighting the sensitivity it required complete removal of booster to access screw.
We feel the product is great but save yourself time & money use a voltage sensor switch to activate booster your bottom line will be better and it will work great!
