- Inverter Technology
- Inverter technology drives the compressor, allowing it to match output to demand. The result: a more stable and comfortable temperature within the space. This type of operation removes more moisture, reduces short-cycling, and improves efficiency.
- Low Ambient Heating
- Maintains rated capacity in outdoor temperatures as low as 3° F. At -15° F, the outdoor unit can still provide 73% of its heating capacity. XLTH outdoor condensers also have a base pan heater to prevent damage from frozen condensate.
- Corrosion Resistant Heat Exchanger
- Fujitsu applies a blue fin coating to the heat exchanger of their outdoor condensers. This improves their resistance to many common sources of corrosion and extends their longevity.
- Advanced Filtration
- A washable ion deodorizing filter uses fine ceramic particles to capture and remove odors. An apple catechin filter isolates and deactivates mold, bacteria, and dust. This combination creates a clean and healthy air flow from your indoor unit.
- Timer Function
- You can set a sleep timer to gradually decrease the output after you have gone to bed. It also supports a 24-hour timer, allowing you to set on and off time once per day. These timers allow you to curtail energy use without sacrificing comfort.
- Dehumidify and Cool
- Dry Mode demonstrates the Halcyon HFI's versatility. In addition to providing moderate cooling, dry mode also dehumidifies your zone.
- Airflow Control
- Swing mode disperses conditioned air evenly across your zone, resulting in consistent and thorough heating and cooling. Swing mode can be used with this unit's auto fan mode and auto changeover for automated comfort in rooms of all shapes and sizes.
- Power Diffuser
- This unit includes an airflow louver known as a power diffuser that directs heated air to the floor of the room and cold air outwards to blanket the room. This diffuser uses temperature sensors to ensure that your airflow is ideal in any application.

- Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.
- Drain Tubing - Drain tubing facilitates the reliable and effective removal of condensate from your system. It connects your indoor units to drain locations of your choosing.
- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Cable - This durable, insulated cable provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
- Base Pan Heater - The base pan heater prevents ice from building up on the outdoor unit. Excessive ice build will lead to performance issues and could damage your unit.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.

It is wonderful to wake up in the morning and have the house be warm. It is very quiet and we have set the temperature and forget it. It just maintains an even temperature all the time. We live in central NH and the climate is cold in the fall and winter.

I bought the 9,000 BTU High Efficiency Fujitsu to complement my earlier purchase of a 12,000 BTU Fujitsu Mini-Split unit so my 1,975 Square Ft ranch home, on Walkout, in Northern Colorado at 6,000 ft altitude will be able to disconnect the natural gas line and be comfortable on Minus 10 degree winter days (minus 2 winter nights). I was amazed by the specifications: 33 SEER and HSPF of 14. We get temps here up to 105 in summer. As I monitor my E-gauge for energy usage in my home I am amazed that with the 2 Fujitsu mini-splits running I am drawing very little power (1000 watts). The 2 units are at opposing ends of the home and cover the house very well. The Gas Line is being cut and the old nat gas furnace will be given away. PV powers my super-insulated 1979 home... and my electric car.
