- The ARU12RLF features an Economy Mode restricts the unit's maximum output to decrease energy use and increase savings. This mode also increases the unit's dehumidification capabilities during cooling operations and in Dry Mode.
- Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.

Replacement Unit - Mixed Feelings About Fujitsu

I purchased this unit as a replacement for an existing unit that developed a leak in the evaporator coil. Although the unit should have been covered under warranty, Fujitsu would not honor it. They told me that only certified technicians can order replacement parts under warranty. I did initially attempt to work through a certified tech however the Fujitsu warranty does not cover labor, and all the quotes I received were outrageous. In the end, it was (much) cheaper to buy the unit through eComfort and install it myself.
I was extremely pleased with my Fujitsu system up until this experience. I realize that a leak in the coil is a common issue with any split unit and if I was treated fairly with regard to the warranty, I would have nothing but positive things to say about Fujitsu.

Amazing A/C system. Quiet, 30% lower operating cost than a traditional unit, 20% lower cost to purchase. Far superior to the old school monstrosity. Blows my mind that everybody does not use a mini split system. The energy savings (over a traditional unit) will pay for my entire system within ten years! 19+ SEER versus the 13 SEER of the old crud. I need to emphasize quiet operation. You cannot hear it running. Incredible. Some difficulty finding an outfit willing to install this relatively new technology. Do not give up! They profit and you save!
