I've been wanting a whole house generator for several years and finally took the plunge. My contractor hooked it up and it's perfect. Monthly test goes off without a hitch. Recently had a brief outage in my neighborhood (tree fell on some lines) and I got the alerts through the app, which is great peace of mind. App is easy to set up and use. I've named him Gene, he's my guy!!

Would be nice if the Generac people would not ship the Service throw over switch, which is heavy on top of the generator. While shipping the bouncing caused the lid to now hold water due to not being convex anymore.
