- Goodman's evaporator coils use a reliable all-aluminum design featuring sine fins and grooved tubes. This design maximizes surface area and optimizes heat transfer for efficient comfort.
- Secure Cabinet
- A galvanized, embossed, and insulated cabinet protects this coil and prevents air leakage, providing superior longevity and efficiency.
- Condensate Management
- The CAPFA features foil-faced insulation to inhibit the formation of condensate and a rust-resistant thermoplastic drain pan to capture what does form, keeping your system safe and operational.
- Multi-Refrigerant Compatibility
- R-22 refrigerant is no longer in production, but many older systems still use it. The CAPFA is compatible with both R-22 and its replacement, R-410A. This makes it the perfect fit for any homeowner.
- Extended Warranty
- Goodman offers a 10-year limited parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See warranty sheet under the "Manuals" tab for more information.

All aluminum evap coil

I waited some time for this coil to arrive but it was well worth it. I considered an Aspen coil but this is so much better quality. The coil fits the Goodman furnace perfectly.
The coil is precharged with a gas so you can verify there are no leaks when installing.
I selected the TXV version so I could get published system efficiency. I found the instructions to be accurate and useful.
I highly recommend this all aluminum coil because the copper aluminum coils have known corrosion issues that can lead to leaks.
During installation, I removed the coil from the enclosure by just sliding it out. This made it easier to lift the furnace with the coil enclosure attached into position.

My AC has been leaking for 8 of the 9 years I've owned my home. Until last year, no one could find the leak and the constant refills on coolant were pretty expensive. Finally, someone showed me the rusted, yucky version I had of this A coil and it set off their detector loud and clear. His cost for the part was nearly twice the cost of this so he recommended I purchase it online. It's now installed and the leak issue has been resolved. So glad I found this part at E Comfort!
