- Goodman's evaporator coils use a reliable all-aluminum design featuring sine fins and grooved tubes. This design maximizes surface area and optimizes heat transfer for efficient comfort.
- Condensate Management
- A rust-resistant thermoplastic drain pan provides a safe, effective way to trap the condensate that forms on the CAUF evaporator coil.
- Multi-Refrigerant Compatibility
- R-22 refrigerant is no longer in production, but many older systems still use it. The CAUF is compatible with both R-22 and its replacement, R-410A. This makes it the perfect fit for any homeowner.
- Extended Warranty
- Goodman offers a 10-year limited parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See warranty sheet under the "Manuals" tab for more information.

My AC has been leaking for 8 of the 9 years I've owned my home. Until last year, no one could find the leak and the constant refills on coolant were pretty expensive. Finally, someone showed me the rusted, yucky version I had of this A coil and it set off their detector loud and clear. His cost for the part was nearly twice the cost of this so he recommended I purchase it online. It's now installed and the leak issue has been resolved. So glad I found this part at E Comfort!

The coil shipped nicely and when installed I found the flange for the liquid port was a nice feature to be able to attach it to the plenum. The coil shipped with a generic sized Flowrator but I used the one that shipped with the condenser which is required.The unit needs a 3/4" plug if you're only using 1 drain port.
