- The GCVC96 furnace employs a reliable dual-diameter tubular heat exchanger design. Aluminized steel is used for incredibly efficient heat transfer, and a wrinkle-bend is applied to the tubes to enhance the heat exchanger's dependability and longevity.
- Secondary Heat Exchanger
- This furnace produces additional heat by directing combustion gases through a secondary heat exchanger before they are vented. The secondary heat exchanger is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and it is sloped to prevent condensate build-up.
- Quiet Comfort
- The blower and gas valve of the GCVC960603BN were selected for their incredibly low sound levels. Additionally, this unit offers an airflow system and fan speed options that allow it to operate quietly while providing consistent comfort.
- Venting Options
- The GCVC960603BN offers several venting options to streamline installation in a variety of applications. It can be used in either a two-pipe direct vent setup or a single-pipe configuration with combustion air.
- Secure Cabinet
- All GCVC96 furnaces are protected by a durable steel cabinet rated for less than 2% air leakage. The heat exchanger section is insulated to prevent heat loss and the return side of the cabinet is solid and airtight.
- ComfortBridge Compatible
- This furnace is compatible with Goodman's ComfortBridge communicating controls. ComfortBridge control streamlines the installation and maintenance processes further by automatically detecting your equipment and providing diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Auto-Comfort
- Goodman's Auto-Comfort mode is available in applications where the GCVC960603BN is used to distribute cooled air. This mode scales output up to the cooling demand in stages for improved comfort, efficiency, and dehumidification.
- Easy Integration
- The GCVC960603BN makes it simple to enhance your system with a humidifier and an electronic air cleaner; just wire them directly to the low-voltage terminals on the control board.
- Extended Warranty
- Goodman offers a 10-year limited unit replacement and parts warranty when you register your product online within 60 days of installation. An unregistered product has the standard 5-year warranty. See the "Manuals" tab for more information.

I received the furnace within 5 days of order and payment, well packed and in good condition. After install and power hookup the unit fired up and heated as it should. There is yet to come winter test, however thusfar I am very pleased.

Ordered on Thursday morning and it arrived Tuesday. Couldn’t be happier. Replaced my 25 year old Bryant. It was a perfect fit using the existing ductwork. Very quiet and even heat.

Received my shipment in good order in a timely manner 12/11/18. It initially seemed delayed, but when I approached Customer Service they responded within 24 hrs. and moved it forward because they were holding off until a back-ordered part was fulfilled. All three items shipped separately at no charge for shipping (very nice). Will add or make another review once installation is complete.

Goodman has come quite a long way in quality and dependability over the past 10 years or so. This is the 4th Goodman system I have installed in as many houses. All function well, and are still in service.
They are easy to install by the experienced DIY guy. If you get stuck, there are lots of videos on you tube.
eComfort had the best price when you consider shipping costs. They included Free shipping, and Free lift gate service. Unit arrived undamaged in a couple days.
I would definitely purchase another Goodman, and I will continue to use eComfort.
