- The GMVC96 furnace employs a reliable dual-diameter tubular heat exchanger design. Aluminized steel is used for incredibly efficient heat transfer, and a wrinkle-bend is applied to the tubes to enhance the heat exchanger's dependability and longevity.
- Secondary Heat Exchanger
- This furnace produces additional heat by directing combustion gases through a secondary heat exchanger before they are vented. The secondary heat exchanger is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and it is sloped to prevent condensate build-up.
- Quiet Comfort
- The blower and gas valve of the GMVC960803BN were selected for their incredibly low sound levels. Additionally, this unit offers an airflow system and fan speed options that allow it to operate quietly while providing consistent comfort.
- Venting Options
- The GMVC960803BN offers several venting options to streamline installation in a variety of applications. It can be used in either a two-pipe direct vent setup or a single-pipe configuration with combustion air.
- Secure Cabinet
- All GMVC96 furnaces are protected by a durable steel cabinet rated for less than 2% air leakage. The heat exchanger section is insulated to prevent heat loss and the return side of the cabinet is solid and airtight.
- ComfortBridge Compatible
- This furnace is compatible with Goodman's ComfortBridge communicating controls. ComfortBridge control streamlines the installation and maintenance processes further by automatically detecting your equipment and providing diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Auto-Comfort
- Goodman's Auto-Comfort mode is available in applications where the GMVC960803BN is used to distribute cooled air. This mode scales output up to the cooling demand in stages for improved comfort, efficiency, and dehumidification.
- Easy Integration
- The GMVC960803BN makes it simple to enhance your system with a humidifier and an electronic air cleaner; just wire them directly to the low-voltage terminals on the control board.
- Extended Warranty

I received the furnace within 5 days of order and payment, well packed and in good condition. After install and power hookup the unit fired up and heated as it should. There is yet to come winter test, however thusfar I am very pleased.

Cost-Efficient and Energy-Efficient Furnace

I replaced my old furnace which used to burn money and did not heat the house properly - too hot too quickly. This new Goodman furnace is 2 stage so it heats more efficiently and will help us save money in the long-run. The 10 year warranty from Goodman was a fantastic offer too.

Goodman has come quite a long way in quality and dependability over the past 10 years or so. This is the 4th Goodman system I have installed in as many houses. All function well, and are still in service.
They are easy to install by the experienced DIY guy. If you get stuck, there are lots of videos on you tube.
eComfort had the best price when you consider shipping costs. They included Free shipping, and Free lift gate service. Unit arrived undamaged in a couple days.
I would definitely purchase another Goodman, and I will continue to use eComfort.

I was not even planning to replace the old Lennox Pulse furnace, as it was still running fine, the A/C unit had failed. I am going to sell the home in a year or so and discussion with my HVAC person indicated that replacing both units would look good to a prospective buyer.The Lennox Pulse was probably best in class in its day but it was 25 years old and very noisy. This Goodman model is very quiet and much more energy efficient. I am very happy I made the decision to switch out the units at this time.

Very impressed so far. Wish Goodman would offer support to homeowners (not just licensed contractors), but I understand that policy. The unit came with very complete documentation that is really all the info you need for a do-it-yourself-er.

Great fit and easy setup , and winter is just starting the features work great, the two stage system is awesome. The two stage system keeps the house warm and it is a even heat , everybody here is happy so far .
