This was a replacement for a previous unit that failed due to a power surge. I am very pleased with this one and find it is much easier to program with the self-contained timer.

The Grundfos UP was a like-in-kind replacement. Installation was a snap. I expect it will perform as flawlessly as the Grundfos it has replaced.

HOT WATER LOOP CIRCULATING PUMP
By William R.
Telford, Pennsylvania
Purchased 11/04/2016 |
Review Posted 12/19/2016
The pump amazed me at how quiet it ran and was vibration free. I first thought it wasn't working until I touched the union and felt it was hot ! WOW ! I thought, QUICK & QUIET
My concern is for the consumer who installs it the way its suggested in the instructions, using the cold water line for the return loop. If (they) give it some thought, or maybe after its to late, they'll find out that its going to take them just as long to get cold water as it took them to get hot water.
I think a few other options in your instruction booklet would erase the anger and frustrations of many customers! (just "MY" opinion) I, by the way, ran a new return line, with a check valve into the drain of my hot water heater, and its WONDERFUL
