I purchased this pump to replace a Grundfos pump that was 8 years old. The professional plumber had installed it incorrectly (follow the directions carefully when positioning the pump). It was very easy to replace and properly position the pump. It took less than an hour from start to finish. I am looking for a long life from this new pump.

Pump was installed on a hot water heater reculating line. The pump was a simple do it yourself project. Pump works great, is quiet and now have instant hot water at a long run faucet.

This pump works great to get hot water into your sinks quickly. It is quiet and has a built in timer. Great value as well, as most of the pumps in this category are $400+

The pump has been performing as advertised, and the attached timer seems to be accurate as well. It is a bit noisier in operation than the similar Grundfos pump that this one replaces, however. It could be improved by (1) making it a little quieter in operation, (2) making it easier to mount on a wall (i.e. provide built-in "feet" that could be easily bolted to plywood, studs, etc.), (3) provide pre-soldered 1/2" copper pipe to both inlet and outlet to eliminate the need for soldering altogether, or provide a threaded attachment at either end.
