The Grundfos 2.5 LPE 5/4.6 is an E-circulator pump. These pumps are equipped with Grundfos MGE motors which have features such as: built-in PI-controller, optional connection to external control signals, setpoint setting on the unit itself and can communicate with the Grundfos remote control R100. Through its frequency control this pump is continuously able to vary the speed of the motor, enabling the pump to operate at any duty point in the range between the pump's minimum and maximum performance curves. It also features a factory-fitted integrated differential-pressure sensor, which continually adjusts the pressure to fit the current demand of the system. This model is specifically engineered to perform according to variable needs and is ideal for use in large heating systems as: main pump, pump in mixing loop, boiler shunt pump, pump for flue gas chiller, pump for partial flow filter, pump in liquid-coupled batteries, pump for pressure keeping system and circulation of domestic hot water.
