- LG's new R-32 mini split units require a 5-conductor cable (Not Included) instead of the standard 4-conductor, improving communication reliability and enabling a new leak detection feature.
- Inverter Technology
- LG's heat pump systems are designed with efficient inverter technology. An electronic expansion valve and a variable speed compressor carefully regulate the refrigerant flow, reducing energy consumption and allowing for consistent, accurate temperatures.
- Quiet Design
- The KNUJB301A indoor unit features a cross flow fan that restricts the pressure of air flow and lowers sound levels. Both the outdoor and indoor units enjoy reduced electrical and mechanical sound thanks to their brushless direct current fan motors.
- Integrated Base Pan Heater
- The KUSXA301A Outdoor Condenser features a factory-installed base pan heater in the drain pan. This prevents condensate from freezing and damaging the unit in frigid climates.
- Automated Operation
- Auto operation mode continually compares your zone's current and desired temperatures and uses that data to intelligently adjust the unit's fan speed and refrigerant flow to provide optimal comfort.
- Jet Temperature Control
- Quickly get your zone comfortable with the Jet Heat and Jet Cool modes. With the press of a button, your system will temporarily adjust the set point and fan speed to provide rapid heating or cooling.
- Gold Fin Protection
- To ensure the reliability and longevity of the KUSXA301A's heat exchanger, LG employs a Gold Fin coating that prevents corrosion and improves durability.
- Sleep Mode
- With the Sleep Mode and Timer functions, you can set the indoor unit to save energy at night. Sleep Mode will incrementally adjust temperature for an hour before the Timer function automatically deactivates the unit.
- Condensate Protection
- Condensate overflow can damage your indoor unit and your home. An internal condensate pump with 27.5" of lift protects the KNUJB301A through reliable, effective condensate removal.
- Dehumidify
- LG's indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
- Improved Air Quality
- The KNUJB301A features an anti-fungal filter to keep your air clean. This filter captures contaminants like dust and bacteria, and it is washable to ensure long term air quality.
- Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.
- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Wire - LG's new R-32 mini split units require a 14 AWG 5-conductor cable. This cable provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris. Adding these accessories to your order will provide a complete, ready-to-install mini split system. All Mini Split Systems require one Primary Mini Split Installation Kit.
