- Air Flow Options
- This unit gives you two options for automating air flow. In swing mode, the unit will rotate through all four air flow directions and with the Chaos Wind feature, it cycles both air flow direction and fan speed.
- Self-Cleaning Coil
- These wall mounted indoor units feature self-cleaning heat exchanger coils that automatically remove dirt and moisture. This helps to prevent unpleasant odors and to combat the formation of mold.
- Jet Temperature Control
- Getting your Zone Comfortable quickly is no problem thanks to the Jet Cool mode with these indoor units. With the press of a button, your system will operate at maximum output to provide rapid zoned cooling.
- Improved Air Quality
- All of LG's wall mounted multi-zone mini split indoor units keep your air clean with a washable anti-fungal filter.
- Hot Start
- When the hot start function is enabled on a mini split indoor unit, the fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.
- Built in Wi-Fi
- With built in Wi-Fi, you have the ability to control your LG air conditioner with smart enabled devices. Simply download the SmartThinQ® app on your smart device to get started.
- Dehumidify
- LG's mini split indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
- Recommended line set sizes for indoor unit connectivity:
- LSN090HSV5: 1/4" x 3/8" Line Set
- LSN120HSV5: 1/4" x 3/8" Line Set (Qty 2)
- All LG branch boxes systems require a min of 16.4 feet of line set between the condenser and the branch box, from the branch box to the distribution box and from the distribution box to the indoor unit.

- Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.
- Drain Tubing - Drain tubing facilitates the reliable and effective removal of condensate from your system. It connects your indoor units to drain locations of your choosing.
- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
- Base Pan Heater - The base pan heater prevents ice from building up on the outdoor unit. Excessive ice build will lead to performance issues and could damage your unit.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.

Bought and installed this unit last summer primarily so I could run my AC off the solar system here in N. GA. I also ordered the tubing from e-comfort but got the wiring and drain tubing from Home Depot. Installation wasn't too hard and I paid a local AC guy $200 to vacuum the lines out before charging the system. He said that since the lines stayed capped until just before hooking them up he probably didn't need to vacuum the lines but since he was already there.....
Wonderfully efficient and since I have meters in the house to monitor power use I can see the power ramp up and down as the inverter changes the power requirements. 1600 sf single story house temperature with 2 heads is even enough. The trick to lower power consumption with an inverter based compressor like this one is to set the temperature and leave it don't keep adjusting it throughout the day.
An added bonus is that this unit provides all the heat I need down to outside temps around 30 degrees in my less than perfectly insulated house with lots of old windows. After that I just light the wood stove.
Still too early to comment on durability, but after 7 months I'm very happy with the unit.

Installation was not difficult, instructions were clear and complete. I installed the equipment then hired a local company to install the line sets and start up the system. The temperature in eastern Washington has been exceptionally cold this winter and the heat pump has kept my older 65' single wide mobile home warm and toasty by itself until the temperature got down to about 0° before the electric furnace kicked in.
