- This unit gives you two options for automating air flow. In swing mode, the unit will rotate through all four air flow directions to ensure consistent comfort in every corner of your room.
- Quiet Design
- The LAN150HYV3 can operate at volumes as low as 30 dB thanks to a combination of cutting edge components. LG utilizes a cross flow fan design that reduces noise levels by limiting the surface pressure of air flow.
- Self-Cleaning Coil
- The LAN150HYV3 features a self-cleaning heat exchanger coil that automatically removes dirt and moisture. This helps to prevent unpleasant odors and to combat the formation of mold.
- Jet Temperature Control
- Quickly get your zone comfortable with the Jet Heat and Jet Cool modes. With the press of a button, your system will temporarily adjust the set point and fan speed to provide rapid heating or cooling.
- Automated Operation
- Auto operation mode continually compares your zone's current and desired temperatures and uses that data to intelligently adjust the unit's fan speed and refrigerant flow to provide optimal comfort.
- Dehumidify
- LG's indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
- Improved Air Quality
- The LAN150HYV3 indoor unit uses a dual filtration system to keep your air clean. A washable anti-fungal filter is the first line of defense against dust and bacteria.
- Hot Start
- When the hot start function is enabled, the LAN150HYV3's fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.
- Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.
- Drain Tubing - Drain tubing facilitates the reliable and effective removal of condensate from your system. It connects your indoor units to drain locations of your choosing.
- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris. Adding these accessories to your order will provide a complete, ready-to-install mini split system.

LG makes a solid mini split heat pump. Their LGRED technology works great in the Montana winters.
Only downside is not being able to cool below 64°F

Bought this for an upstairs bedroom and bath that our central AC and Heating had a hard time reaching. Overall this is a great unit that I would recommend.
Pros:
-Cools quick (haven't run the heat yet)
-Connects to wifi for app based control
-Dehumidifier is great
-Very quiet
-Our electric bill is lower than last year's for the same period, so it's saving us money
Cons:
-The app and the remote don't talk to each other, so they can end up being set differently, but you have more options via the app anyway, so not a ton of use for the remote except to toggle the display on and off.
-If you set the unit to cool only, the unit will continue to cool below the set point, it won't turn off then kick back on once the temp goes above the set point. Auto mode will do the trick, but it's a bit annoying to have the heat kick on in the summer when the room is 70 with a set point of 72.
-The scheduling feature in the app is very rudimentary and could use a redo to make it useful.
Overall, we're very happy with the unit, and given that it's a bit cheaper than other's, I would definitely recommend. The cons seem like they could be fixed with a software update, so maybe that will be coming in the future.

This LG Art Premier Mini-Split heat pump is great. Both the indoor evaporator and the outdoor condenser are nearly silent and look great. The remote is logical, has a nice display, and is easy to use. I look forward to purchasing another unit for a different area of my house. This is classic LG quality. The only thing that I could even think to improve would be the instruction sheet. It could be larger and the steps laid out in more logical, easier to follow manner.
