- This unit gives you two options for automating air flow. In swing mode, the unit will rotate through all four air flow directions to ensure consistent comfort in every corner of your room.

- Jet Temperature Control
- Quickly get your zone comfortable with the Jet Heat and Jet Cool modes. With the press of a button, your system will temporarily adjust the set point and fan speed to provide rapid heating or cooling.

- Auto operation mode continually compares your zone's current and desired temperatures and uses that data to intelligently adjust the unit's fan speed and refrigerant flow to provide optimal comfort.
- Dehumidify
- LG's indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
- Improved Air Quality
- The LAN240HYV3 indoor unit uses a dual filtration system to keep your air clean. A washable anti-fungal filter is the first line of defense against dust and bacteria.
- Hot Start
- When the hot start function is enabled, the LAN240HYV3's fan will not engage until the outdoor condenser has had the opportunity to warm the indoor coil. This prevents the unit from blowing cold air during heating operations.
- Line Set - This double insulated tubing transfers refrigerant efficiently between your outdoor condenser and indoor units.
- Drain Tubing - Drain tubing facilitates the reliable and effective removal of condensate from your system. It connects your indoor units to drain locations of your choosing.
- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris. Adding these accessories to your order will provide a complete, ready-to-install mini split system.

I've only had this unit in for about 3 weeks and I bought it mainly for heating although cooling will be a great bonus in the summer. The structure I put it in was 920 sq ft with a forced air propane system with 9 heat ducts in the floor. Its in the mountains of Colorado at an elevation of 8000 ft in an extremely windy location. The week after I put it in was bitter cold with one day having a high temp of 4 degrees and a low of -10 or maybe colder.
It kept the main living area at about 68 during the day and I'd turn it down to 62 at night. The far bedroom was about 10 degrees cooler but I consider that acceptable. My purpose was to not have to pay an outrageous propane bill to heat the place. I didn't get a full months bill to compare costs but I'm extremely pleased so far with the operation. I will be selling these to everyone who wants a mini split with low temp heating.

I was surprised how quiet this unit is. Easy to install and operate. I did the installation myself and had an AC company pull the vacuum on the line and open the valves. Very pleased so far.

We have used this for 2 weeks and very happy with how quiet it is. It does not use much electricity. We are running a 24 Btu and an 18 Btu, using less than 30 kilowatts a day. This is with outside temps of 105 to 115. We are very happy with the system. I picked this brand and model as it was mid priced and recommended for high outside temps. The remote makes it easy to make adjustments. We are not using any of the automatic functions so cannot comment of how they work. We had it installed by an A/C pro for $600.

This LG Art Premier Mini-Split heat pump is great. Both the indoor evaporator and the outdoor condenser are nearly silent and look great. The remote is logical, has a nice display, and is easy to use. I look forward to purchasing another unit for a different area of my house. This is classic LG quality. The only thing that I could even think to improve would be the instruction sheet. It could be larger and the steps laid out in more logical, easier to follow manner.
