The unit is extremely quiet and comfortable. I'm in south Louisiana and humidity is my biggest hurdle. Because the DC inverter can operate at very low speed the air is moving for a longer duration and is significantly drier than standard DX systems. I'm more comfortable even though I can set the thermostat at a higher temperature than I'm used to. I love the zone flexibility and the ducted option keeps the equipment out of site.

Even during the purchase process, I was still skeptical of how well these mini split units would work in relation to a 'conventional' heat pump system. Well, once the units were installed, all of my fears subsided with how well the unit works. I ended up getting two 9ks and two 12ks installed along with the 36k heat pump. So far the system has worked great. We did have one issue with one of the units showing a 'CH04" error code. It turned out to be a dislodged float on the condensate drain pump. Due to the accuracy of the code, the installer was able to troubleshoot and correct the issue pretty quickly.
I was really impressed with how much this system was 'plug and play' in terms of connections and setup. The hardest part of the install was removing all of the old stuff from the prior system.
