Easy to use

We are really enjoying having this unit. It does a great job of keeping our small space warm or cool. When the temperature drops to the low 30's it seems to struggle to regulate and makes lots of noise in the process. Other then that it is a fairly quite machine.

Very Impressed

Great unit with nice features. Excellent for use in existing duct system or new. Just be aware that the thermostat that controls the unit is very basic and you may have trouble finding a programmable thermostat from LG for this unit as they all seem to be discontinued.
One thing that stands out is how adjustable the fan is. It can have tornado like force or a gentle breeze depending on how you program each fan speed.

Quality built product, price is very reasonable. Performance is good. Heat pump works down to 0 degree F. Installation is simple and the system can be used as central ac system for a 800 sq ft apartment. Start up is a breeze. Highly recommended.

Love LG Mini Splits
By Robert M

This is the second mini split I've installed. I really love these things. They are super quiet both indoors and outdoors. On low, you can't even tell they are running. Can't say anything about durability at this point. Maybe I'll write a review in 10 years.
The ductless unit is a weekend install. This ducted unit is a lot more work due to the ductwork needed. I had slab ductwork. So, a mini split was a cost effective alternative. It's mounted in the attic. There is no condensate during heating, and no combustion air to work with, so I've been able to fully insulate the IDU and ductwork to the IRC/IECC deeply buried duct standard.
eComfort also has prompt support. So, if you're considering buying one of these for your own project look no further. Great prices, and great support.
