- LG's heat pump systems are designed with efficient inverter technology. An electronic expansion valve and a variable speed compressor carefully regulate the refrigerant flow, reducing energy consumption and allowing for consistent, accurate temperatures.
- Gold Fin Protection
- To ensure the reliability and longevity of the LSU240HEV1's heat exchanger, LG employs a Gold Fin coating that prevents corrosion and improves durability.
- Low Ambient Operations
- Cold temperatures can't slow this system down. This outdoor unit supports heating and cooling operations down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. There is also a defrost feature, which removes frost from the condenser coil in frigid conditions.
- Quiet Design
- LG uses advanced components to ensure that their systems are as quiet as possible. Both the outdoor and indoor unit enjoy reduced electrical and mechanical sound thanks to their brushless fan motors.
- Air Flow Options
- There are several options for automatic comfort with the LSN240HEV1 indoor unit: auto mode, swing mode, and Chaos Wind mode. Any of these modes can be activated to provide optimal circulation specific to your home.
- Self-Cleaning Coil
- The LSU240HEV1 indoor unit features a self-cleaning heat exchanger coil that automatically removes dirt and moisture. This helps to prevent unpleasant odors and to combat the formation of mold.
- Jet Temperature Control
- Getting your zones comfortable quickly is no problem with this system thanks to the Jet Heat and Jet Cool modes. With the press of a button, your system will temporarily adjust the set point and fan speed to provide rapid heating or cooling.
- Sleep Mode
- With the sleep mode and timer functions, you can set the indoor units to save energy at night. Sleep mode will incrementally adjust temperature for an hour before the timer function automatically deactivates the unit.
- Dehumidify
- LG's mini split indoor units include a dehumidifying operation mode. In this mode, the unit's internal sensors monitor temperature and modify the set point and fan speed to remove moisture from the air.
- Improved Air Quality
- The LSN240HEV1 indoor unit features an anti-fungal filter to keep your air clean. This filter captures contaminants like dust and bacteria, and it is washable to ensure long term air quality.

- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
- Base Pan Heater - The base pan heater prevents ice from building up on the outdoor unit. Excessive ice build will lead to performance issues and could damage your unit.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.

We are really enjoying having this unit. It does a great job of keeping our small space warm or cool. When the temperature drops to the low 30's it seems to struggle to regulate and makes lots of noise in the process. Other then that it is a fairly quite machine.

The system was easy to install and the fact that it only required a 20 amp 115V circuit was a plus. I installed the system in a new room addition for my client. They love it! It is quiet and heats and cools the room very effectively. I definitely recommend this product.

We purchased this mini split for a little 770 sq ft house that only had window units that ran non-stop. Since installing this we've had to experiment to determine the best setting for our location, but once we put it in the dehumification mode it has been wonderful. It cools the entire house and is keeping the entire house at a stable temperature. Would I do it again? You bet. There are no regrets.
One thing - if you plan to install this yourself be aware that some of the fittings are different from a traditional 410A condenser. Thankfully, my husband had been a HVAC installer for approximately 50 years, so he was able to overcome that obstacle. If you know nothing about this type of work, my advice would be to hire a professional.

Our challenge: get heat and A/C into a newly remodeled area of our home where the use is changed and year around comfort is important. The existing whole house heat pump is maxed out and unable to satisfy the needs of this new remote area. This mini-split filled that need perfectly.
