Our company only works on pier and beam homes. This product works perfect for our customers. We have installed several through the years. Off hand 10 in the last year or so. I really would recommend it.

The pump and crock are well made and the electrical plug has a long cord. The hose that comes with the kit is for temp use at best. You are better off tossing the hose and check valve and install the pump with a PVC pipe installation and the appropriate check valve. Also the pump is so quite, you literally can’t hear it pumping.

I purchased the pump kit that included the basin as a replacement for an old pump in a 5 gal. paint bucket. Hardest part was digging out the hole to place the basin. Pump was easy to install and operates very quietly. I hard piped the discharge instead of using the flexible plastic pipe included. Seems to be a very good quality pump.

I gave this liberty pump 5 stars even though the hose is cheap,and being a welder /fabricator for 50 years the fact that a mechanic would drill 30 or so holes and not debur them escapes me. But every pump I looked at locally, had the same cheap hose, So I overlooked these nitpicks? and gave it a 5.The pump appears heavy duty and well made. The tank also is heavy duty and well thought out as far as access holes for wires and pipe or tubing. They use galvanized hardware? I recommend neverseeze and a stainless changeout. In central Virginia we have had heavy rain since I replaced the mess that was installed previously, and this pump set up has performed flawlessly. It is installed is a crawlspace,with a dirt floor,covered by a vapor barrier The tank sits in and is surrounded by several hundred pounds of gravel.It only has 24'' of head lift,and 28' of piping after exiting the crawl and handles this flawlessly. I would highly recommend this set up,and the price through SPD is spot on, But getting through to customer service, NEEDS INPROVEMENT!

I have not had to use the pump yet, but the kit was complete and appears to be of good quality (except the hose is pretty cheap, and difficult to fit over a barbed fitting if you cut the end off).

I will be installing this kit as a part of French drain in a crawl space. I plan to hard pipe due to reviews and length if discharge. Lady on the phone didn't know specific measurements of the lip. No biggie. One guy pulling and one standing on it we flexed it enough to get between joists. Pump seems heavier duty than the one from my old house. Looking forward to using it.

The pump is quiet, works, easy install after you dig(ugh) the hole. Read in other reviews that the hose was flimsy, so i hard piped it-- so far, so good.

It says there is an inline check valve not pictured. Is there an adapter to hook directly into the sump pump. Also, I would be using this for a window well and having the pump submerged. Would this pump be ok for that use?
