- Advanced Filtration System
- The MSZ-FH09NA uses two advanced filters to clean and deodorize the circulated air. The deodorizing filter absorbs any offending smells, while the second is an enzyme-based anti-allergy filter that captures and destroys bacteria and particulates.
- 3D i-see Sensor®
- The MSZ-FH09NA's 3D i-see Sensor® monitors its zone for fluctuations in temperature and will temporarily direct airflow to that zone. It also enters energy saving mode if no human heat signatures are detected.
- Hot-Start
- Mitsubishi's hot start technology prevents cold drafts by delaying fan operation until the heat exchanger has warmed up.
- Powerful Mode
- The powerful setting on the MSZ-FH09NA makes it easy to get your zone to the perfect temperature quickly. When activated, the unit temporarily increases refrigerant flow and fan speed to provide quick comfort through rapid heating or cooling.
- Econo Cool Mode
- By slowly adjusting the cooling set point and swinging the horizontal vanes, the MSZ-FH09NA can improve the efficiency of cooling operations without compromising the comfort provided.
- Dehumidification
- When the indoor unit runs in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.
- Vane Control
- Optimal air flow can be achieved with the MSZ-FH09NA thanks to two vane control options, standard and wide. Auto mode selects the best vane position based on operating mode while swing mode cycles through each vane position.

This is a replacement for a 5 year old unit that developed a tube leak inside the unit. Never could find the tube leak and nobody would pressure test it to find the leak. So I had to buy a new unit. Pulled vacuum and charged the system. Works great.

I have just had this running for 2 days and it heats amazing and is incredibly quiet. It replaced my failed Shinco mini split which no longer had parts available. It did produce cold air but it is now 50F outside here so I haven't tested the air conditioner much. It is next to the TV so the quietness is appreciated. The iSee sensor either blows air on you or avoids blowing air on you which is selectable from the remote control.

Bought this for my vacation home in Maine. We have window air conditioners in 3 other bedrooms but have casement windows in the master bedroom which is the warmest room in the house. I did the installation myself but called an HVAC technician to do a leak test and then draw a vacuum on the system. Added advantage is warranty coverage by having a professional complete the installation. The unit is unbelievably quiet and cools and dehumidifies the room quite well. The unit arrived in a timely fashion and the accessory kit contained everything I needed except a line cover set which I ordered separately from Amazon.

Mitsubishi craftsmanship should be a standard all manufacturing companies should stand by. One of the best units on the market from start to finish. If you can afford this unit , go for it. If you can't afford this unit , save your money and then go for it. As far as eComfort sales goes, happy with the professionalism honesty and delivery. A pleasant company to deal with.
