I purchased this thermostat to replace the original one that gave up the ghost. It is much easier to use than the original one. I would highly recommend this unit.

The instructions for connecting the transceiver to the wall unit are lacking but there is a very good You Tube video. The thermostat is easy to program and operate. I highly recommend this device if you are getting poor temperature control from the stock system with the temp sensor inside the wall unit.

Little pricey just for thermostat for your mini split but works when you want a more accurate room temp. Kinda slow communicating with evap sometimes but not the end of the world

The controller and receiver linked up flawlessly. I do not like that the actual room temperature the system brings the room to and the set point on the thermostat do not coincide (2 degree discrepancy). I called Mitsubishi only to be told that there can be up to a 3 degree variance and that there is no adjustment. There is an extensive list of setup options which is good and bad. Good, in that you can really customize how you want the system to operate, bad in that many of the options are not obvious as to their function is. Documentation could be more helpful. It would also be nice if the display included an outdoor temperature. Overall, this is a decent product, but it could be improved.
