The MSZ-GE18NA-9 is a wall mounted heat pump mini split indoor unit for use in single zone and multi-zone systems. The functional design is paired with quiet operations that provide comfort without disrupting your space and installing a Mitsubishi wall mounted indoor unit is quick and easy thanks to their convenient mounting plate. With multiple operating modes, multiple fan speeds, and multiple airflow directions, this unit fits the needs of nearly any room. Whether you are designing a primary heating and cooling system or supplementing an existing one, the MSZ-GE18NA-9 is an excellent addition.
Product Features
Advanced Filtration System
The MSZ-GE18NA-9 combines a hybrid catechin deodorizing filter with an enzyme-based filter for managing allergens. The anti-allergy filter not only captures the offending particles, it also breaks them down, cleaning the air as it is conditioned.
Hot-Start
Mitsubishi's hot start technology prevents cold drafts by delaying fan operation until the heat exchanger has warmed up.
Smart Set
Mitsubishi's Smart Set function allows you to save a cooling profile and a heating profile, each consisting of a temperature, a fan speed, and an airflow direction. These profiles can be activated easily with a press of the Smart Set button on the remote controller.
Econo Cool Mode
By slowly adjusting the cooling set point and swinging the horizontal vanes, the MSZ-GE18NA-9 can improve the efficiency of cooling operations without compromising the comfort provided.
Dehumidification
When the indoor unit is run in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves your comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.
Vane Control
Optimal air flow is easy to achieve with the MSZ-GE18NA-9 thanks to the vane control option. This function provides access to five different horizontal vane positions, an auto mode, and a swing mode. Auto mode selects the best vane position based on operating mode. Swing mode cycles through all positions for maximum coverage.

Easy to install, had authorized dealer do the leak test and fire it up. Works great here in Florida. Great options too, used the dehumidifier several times when not working in the house just to keep the place dry and cool. I bought two more units for another house I am building. No worries about duct work and mold that is common in Florida’s humid climate.

Did most of the install myself , the detailed instructions made it pretty easy. Mitsubishi Installer did refridgerent lines.
Unbelievably Quiet , you have to stand outside next to the compressor unit to hear it running. The indoor unit makes far less noise than a nearby Refrigerator.

I installed the unit, and finished with the inspections. The unit was silent and easy to use while the features on the remote were streamlined and easy to use. The outdoor unit was also quite with well designed features!

For a discontinued unit this thing works great! I double checked to make sure I could get parts before I purchased it. Looking to possibly get the kumo cloud adapter to work with it or the MHK1.

I purchased this unit for my garage/shop. Summers are hot and VERY humid and Winters can be bitter cold. After considering separate systems to handle the more extreme times of the year a buddy recommended a Mitsubishi Mini Split. I was skeptical of a multi use system but I was told they’re reliable, capable and the price was right so I figured it was worth a try.
After a couple days of use, I’m very happy that I went with this system. My shop is approximately 600 sq ft and it’s amazing how fast it conditions the air. I was surprised to see it also has a dedicated dehumidifier setting so I can run it during the swing months of the fall and spring without the need to run the Heat or A/C. I was also amazed at how compact this system is, it has a small footprint for the condenser, looks sharp and the indoor unit mounts neatly on the wall so no loss of square footage in my shop which is a huge plus. It’s quiet even at its highest setting which is also nice. All in all I would definitely buy this again.
