- The MSZ-GL09NA-U1 combines a hybrid catechin deodorizing filter with an enzyme-based filter for managing allergens. The anti-allergy filter not only captures the offending particles, it also breaks them down, cleaning the air as it is conditioned.
- Hot-Start
- Mitsubishi's hot-start technology prevents cold drafts by delaying fan operation until the heat exchanger has warmed up.
- Econo Cool Mode
- By slowly adjusting the cooling set point and swinging the horizontal vanes, the MSZ-GL09NA-U1 can improve the efficiency of cooling operations without compromising the comfort provided.
- Dehumidification
- When the indoor unit is run in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.
- Multiple Vane Control Options
- Auto mode selects the best vane position based on operating mode, and the swing modes cycle through all positions for maximum coverage. When wide mode is activated, fan speed increases beyond the current setting.

I bought the 9K MSZ-GL09NA-U1 unit for my upstairs bedroom. I recommend buying this unit to connect to your Mitsubishi Hyper Heat H2i Condenser. They work really well together. VERY Robust unit! Very easy to install, very robust Mitsubishi product. The remote control slides OPEN and has many more buttons to allow access to very nice features.

Unit is quiet as stated. Had an issue with another brand unit that became objectionably noisy after several years. Hope that this unit will operate better as time goes on. Both units had/have the inverter motor fan. Expect the unit to heat and cool my sun room as did the previous unit. Was surprised to find that the stat does not have a programmable function. I am sure that I could pick up that function if I wanted to install a wall mounted stat. The air blades do not oscillate right and left in the unit, although they are adjustable to set at a given direction. Was willing to pay more for this unit that I expect to hold up better than my last one which I replaced after five years. So far I am happy with the unit.

We had this professionally installed 2.5 months ago. LOVE it, wish we would have pulled the trigger sooner. This was a the perfect solution for our upstairs master bedroom, our house is 100 years old so our options were limited.
This unit is extremely quiet as in you would not even notice it is on as far as noise. The air is soft and cool. The eco feature is great and we use it 100% of the time.
My only wish is that the remote had a back light for when it is dark. This is an excellent product & we have been recommending to everyone we know.

I just installed the unit today. I have installed a number of mini-splits. The Instructions were simple and easy to follow. I added the heater for winter defrosting. My customers were very pleased. Extremely quiet inside and out. I was also impressed with the 24 seer rating and the ability to heat even in very cold temperatures. I highly recommend this unit.
