- Mitsubishi's hot start technology prevents cold drafts by delaying fan operation until the heat exchanger has warmed up.
- Econo Cool Mode
- By slowly adjusting the cooling set point and swinging the horizontal vanes, the MSZ-GL12NA can improve the efficiency of cooling operations without compromising the comfort provided.
- Dehumidification
- When the indoor unit is run in dry mode, the coil's temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.
- Multiple Vane Control Options
- Auto mode selects the best vane position based on operating mode, and the swing modes cycle through all positions for maximum coverage. When wide mode is activated, fan speed increases beyond the current setting.

- Control every zone in your home from the palm of your hand. The Kumo Cloud App allows easy access and control with any smartphone or internet browser.
- Precision Temperature Control Technology
- The outdoor condenser is equipped with inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. These components improve temperature accuracy and system efficiency through precise adjustments of both compressor speed and refrigerant flow.
- Blue Fin Condenser
- Condensers are constantly exposed to wind, dust and salty air that take their toll on your unit. Mitsubishi coats their condensers with an anti-rust coating to extend its lifespan.
- Smart Set
- Mitsubishi's Smart Set function allows you to save a cooling profile consisting of a temperature, a fan speed, and an airflow direction. This profile can be activated easily with a single press of the Smart Set button on the remote controller.

- Disconnect Box & Electrical Whip Kit - The Disconnect Box & Whip Kit provides a safe and simple way to connect your outdoor condenser to your fuse box.
- Connecting Wire - This durable, insulated wire provides power to your indoor units from your outdoor condenser.
- Outdoor Condenser Plastic Pad or Wall Bracket - We recommend outdoor condensers should not be placed directly on the ground. An outdoor condenser pad or wall bracket will provide a stable way to mount your condenser free from obstructions and debris.

Because of prior experience with this product (heat pump/ac combo), we purchased this brand again for another home we are renovating. It is winter so haven't used it yet, but we are confident all will be well as in the past. The units never failed us nor needed maintenance.

We just installed this system a few weeks ago and have used it for both AC and heat since we live in South Florida the weather is up and down during the Winter time. We installed this to add a separate zone for our master bedroom to use at nighttime and also to use during hurricane power outages with our generator.
We have been using this in quiet mode for both cooling and heating and have been absolutely amazed with how well this system works. My wife and I highly recommend this product!!!! Thank you Mitsubishi for your quality!

I had a small window air conditioner for my bedroom in the attic, I could not sleep with the noise. I attic of course is always hot.. Not when this unit it is on. My whole attic is comfortable.

A friend has a couple of these Mitsubishi units so I decided to follow suit. The install went perfectly smooth, detailed instructions are provided. Of course I don't have a lot of run time yet, but I anticipate perfect climate control in the master bedroom where I installed this. This unit is whisper quiet and I expect years of trouble free operation.

I can't believe that in an era of global warming combined with high energy costs these things won't sell like hot cakes. (Perhaps a poor metaphor...) They provide low cost, focused, efficient, cooling and heating where you need it with a minimum of installation effort.
My installation was completed on the first day of a record-setting heat spell for my area. I spend the rest of the heat spell in solid 70 degree F comfort.
Biggest problem was finding a qualified installer who was willing to do this simple job carefully and at a cost comparable to the cost of the unit itself. Most installations are about an 8 hour job for a qualified A/C technician/contractor. In my area most HVAC contractors just don't want to bother with such a small job. They would rather try to sell an expensive and less efficient ducted central air system or upgrade.
My only issue with the unit is that the temp. setting on the remote is about 5 degrees F. out of calibration and there doesn't seem to be any way to adjust it. Otherwise the product seems beautifully engineered and built. I'm particularly impressed with the quietness of both the indoor and outdoor units. The user and installation instructions are also clear and thoughtful.
