Mitsubishi's PAC-USWHS002-WF-1 Kumo Cloud Adapter gives you complete control of your Mitsubishi mini-split systems in the palm of your hand. The Cloud Adapter allows for programming and operation of your mini-split system either wirelessly through a local network connection, or remotely through Mitsubishi's own Kumo Cloud app, available through: the Apple App Store, Google play, or the Amazon appstore. A seperate adapter is needed for each indoor unit in the system. Easy to install and even easier to use, the Kumo system features the ability to group multiple zones together, allowing for more efficient control of your heating and cooling needs. The Kumo system also features set it and forget it programmability, keeping your home comfortable when you are there, and saving you money when you leave. Mitsubishi continues to provide efficient home heating and cooling options, and now gives you more control than ever before with the Kumo Cloud Adapter.

The product required cutting a small access hole for routing the connecting wire. No big deal but there are no instructions to that end. Otherwise easy to install if you know how to access the electrical board.
I have had limited success in obtaining professional help. Service providers in New Jersey don't like working on equipment purchased elsewhere.

I installed 3 Adapters. One warms up my downstairs office for an hour before I arrive to spend the day. The other two warm up tenant rooms for an hour before they awaken and go to work. Morning room warm ups are all that are needed here in southern California. In the summer I turn off the AC in the tenant rooms remotely when they forget. These controllers ensure that the heat is on for minimum time and not accidentally left on to waste electricity in my solar system. My solar panels and mini-split system ensure a zero dollar electric bill every month summer and winter.

I have a 2-head mini-split, and when I had it installed, I had the Kumo Cloud option (Wi-Fi adapter) installed on both. For whatever reason, the built-in thermostat in the heads is not as good as what you get with these little temp/humidity sensors. I'd recommend anyone buying the Kumo Cloud adapters also buy these, to ensure the system performs as well as it can.

I installed the 24k indoor unit with the help of my wife, I installed the outdoor unit on the stands by myself which also was very easy. I called the ac guy to vacuum my lines and fire the system up. All in all, ultra quiet and efficient and I just ordered 2 more units for the rest of my house. Totally excited.....and very happy.

We have a 5000+ sqft house - totally cooled ( Florida ) by 15 Mitsubishi ductless units. The Kumo allows w adapters on each allows great control - temp, fan speed, vents .... gives error code on failure of unit...
Only way to go. However it does take some patience and a good wifi to get them communicating.

I bought 5 of these, one for each room.
They were easy to install and setup. And the App on our phones is working flawlessly. You can see the current temperature in every room, and change it individually, or for the whole house if needed.
You can set different timers, multiple times a day for each room if needed.
The units are a little pricy, however to me it was worth it for the convenience.
