Great unit for heating a shop

I have had the 60K HDS unit installed in my wood shop for just over a week now. It is working great. The area I am heating is 25 x 24 with 12 ft ceiling. We have had temps under 20F and it maintains 50 easily, hardly ever running. It can also get it up to 60 quickly when I am working in the shop.

We have a metal building with no insulation. In South Texas our winters are basically in the 40's and 50's with occasional 20's to 30's. Our heater warms it up quickly where we can work in short sleeves. If I would insulate, then I'm sure it wouldn't run very much. Can't speak to the fuel consumption as we are on propane and it was just filled. Will update later. This appears to be a 5-star product.

Have used this for two winters and have been quite pleased. The "separated combustion" design was the most important feature of the unit for me - the real reason I chose it. No risk of an explosion from dust or fumes in my woodworking shop. It was relatively easy to install - I did it myself - and it has been trouble free.

Fit our needs perfectly! Needed a heater/furnace with a sealed combustion chamber and something that would mount close to the ceiling. Also was able to find the btu I was looking for. Had it installed by a licensed plumber, with no issues there. Not a bad looking unit, and when its running it is very quiet with plenty of warm air flow. Price was right and it shipped free very quickly! Only been installed for a day but it is running absolutely perfectly! Extremely happy!
