- The PDP200 uses a propeller for air movement. This keeps the depth of the unit heater to a minimum, maximizing possible installation points, as well as passing along significant cost savings.
- Aluminized Steel Heat Exchanger
- The aluminized steel heat exchanger passes lower manufacturing costs along to the consumer, is incredibly durable and is protected by a full 10 year warranty by Modine.
- Electric Knockouts
- Electric wiring knockouts and field wiring connections on the PDP200 keep installation costs low and save time during both installation and maintenance for your contractor by simplifying all required electrical work.
- Ignition Controller
- The ignition controller is designed with safety in mind and features built in ignition attempt timers. This minimizes the chance of false starts and prevents unnecessary gas from being used during the ignition process.
- Permanently Lubricated Motor
- The motor on the PDP200 has a permanent, effective lubricant straight from the factory. This means that the motor never has to be oiled, reducing maintenance costs, general wear and tear, and operational noise.
- Power Venting System
- The power venting system quickly and efficiently brings flue exhaust from the unit heater to the outdoors and requires minimal installation labor. This keeps installation related costs as low as possible.
- Baked Polyester Paint
- The PDP200 features a neutral colored baked on polyester paint, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability while blending in with a wide variety of environments.
- Modine Installation
- Installation by a professional installer is required by the manufacturer.

Fast delivery, easy install. Only thing was there was grease on the intake side screen restricting the gas flow. Once cleaned, worked fine.

Cold weather hit and we just acquired a 45x75 shop with three large doors. Installed 2 PDP200 heaters and with it 20 degrees outside, it’s sunny and 75. I’ve had to change transmissions and engines outside but now I’m in my happy place. I’m definitely not an HVAC technician but they were so easy to install it’s not funny. Thank you eComfort.

I can only give an average review. I held a thermometer to the bottom vent and it was registering at 105 degree, when i hold it towards the top. It registers at 85 degrees. So, it doesn’t put out as much heat at the top as it does at the bottom. But maybe that is the way it is designed to work to be more efficient. I have not received our first heating bill since installed, so i don’t know if it is saving us money over our old ones. Careful to check all nuts and bolts. I was missing 2 out of the fan motor to the blades.

We just replaced a 30 year old Modine with a new one. The only reason we replaced it was we had a small roof leak and it rusted a hole in it. We hope to get another 30 years out of the new one. We may end up replacing all are others ones in the off season, because the new one seems more efficient
