I installed this unit in a couple of hours, having already removed the old tank heater. The installation instructions were easy to follow, especially after watching the Youtube video (several times). This unit is for my 2 bath guest house. I have another Noritz unit that supplies the main house and it has worked great for 5 years. I have descaled it as required. I hope the EZTR40 performs as expected.

Good efficiency, very simple installation, but I still used a pro. Long lifetime of 25 years. Good for my small home. A little on the pricey side but it is worth the quality. Only problem I had wasn't with the product, but trying to get a plumber to come over to install it due to the current pandemic situation.
It weighs a hundred pounds so I suggest you have them place it inside your home when they deliver it.

This water heater was a different model than our original one, so installation was more complicated but my husband found it easy to install himself, we have liked it.

I love tankless hot water heaters
By Danielle M.

I installed this unit myself and it was quite simple and straightforward, I have had tankless units before and I love them, no more waiting for hot water to reheat after the whole family showers. My only complaint is it seems a touch loud, I can hear it thru the shower, more like a vibration type noise, not really an issue.

This is my first day using a tankless water heater and in one word I can describe it. Awesome... This unit is amazing, on demand hot water at a consistent 120 degrees. My son was first in the shower and his description was I had to add cold water to keep from getting burned. Next week I get my new indoor hot tub/spa and I will never have a problem of running out of bot water. I have a lung disease and can not breathe chlorine or bleach type products. My new ez40 makes sure my hot tub will always be fresh and hot faith no chlorine needed. Thank you Noritz for such a great product.
