Construction of fan motor is obviously superior to many others on the market. Convection air flowing through my two car garage is enough to spin the fans even when turned off. When running, they cannot be heard in the house. Fans are set to kick in at 95 to 100 degrees and when they do it feels like the AC reset 4 or 5 degrees lower. Performance exceeds expectations! A great purchase.

Nice fan and powder coating. Temp control works well and pretty quiet. I would consider the step up to the more energy efficient model but this unit is excellent. High quality build.

As a “decent” 66 year old diy’er, fan was as easy to install as marketed. Replacing a similar fan helped - only needed to reinforce 2 sides of my opening. The 2 “pairs” of mounting clips being closer together & opposite each other made it easier to align/install. Liked the plug-in feature vs direct wire as well!

I do not have air conditioning and these two units really keep the house cool. I never feel hot...they are quiet....and I love that they go faster and faster as it gets hotter and hotter outside!

I did not realize how silent this fan is! I had it installed and the only way I know it's on, is to step outside on the hottest part of the day and hear the light him from the table. After reading many reviews about this fan online, I did put it on a timer... Not because it is loud, I just don't think it is needed too run all night. So far, so good, I will pay again at end of summer.

It really moves air out of the attic when it’s hot outside. You can feel the air movement from a second story home on the ground. When it’s a little chilly out it’s very quiet and just a slow fan movement. Really nice product.

I ordered this as a replacement for a Broan attic fan with a 1600 CFM. This is by far the best gable fan on the market! Easy to install and very well made. It is a little noisy. But not terrible and can only be heard in our laundry room. We are used to attic fan noise and this one is about the same noise level as the Broan but much more efficient due to the large volume of air this fan moves. The fan moves about twice as much air as the Broan and keeps my very large attic 20 to 40 degrees cooler. Much better job than the Broan fan. The Broan fan would cause dishes, bottles and glasses in the laundry room to rattle and this one does not. Highly recommend this fan. Well made and very efficient. It has decreased the run time on our central air unit about 50%. Looking forward to have much saving will be reflected in the power bill.
