Whole house ventilation allows you to bring the cooler outdoor air through your windows, home, and attic space to thoroughly cool and ventilate both the home and attic. This is what allows your home to stay cooler the next day and resist heating up as much as it would if you only ran the AC to cool the home. The QuietCool QC ES-7000 is designed to be installed centrally in large to extra large homes. Simply open a window when you get home from work, flip on the QuietCool, and enjoy a peaceful and cool evening relaxing. And for an even better system, purchase another smaller QuietCool unit for your master bedroom to enjoy a full range of cooling and ventilation.

A Real Time And Money Saver
By Michael H

This unit is a real time and money saver. Our previous routine was to install multiple noisy fans in several windows to get any cooling. Now, when we switch this on and open a couple of windows, the cooling is instant and quiet. As for the installation which I installed vertically in the shaft up to a skylight (highest and hottest place in the house), I managed to do it all by myself. It was a little challenging getting it through the drop-dawn ladder opening into the attic, but after deciding to separate it into three pieces, it all went well. The 2 foot diameter, 9 foot long ducting required several bungees to shorten it to fit through the opening. I would recommend using bungees with plastic hooks to avoid damaging the foil ducting. And, plenty of duct tape to make airtight seals at all joins. I would also pay close attention to any down-drafts that might come from fireplaces or wood stoves.

This fan changed our summer indoor comfort. Our AC had trouble keeping up on a hot day. Now it hardly runs. In addition, the house feels fresh with the outside air. One drawback is my kids have to wear sweatshirts in the mornings because it is “cold” in the house.

Everything I thought the fan would do- fresh and cool air circulating inside the house. High speed is a little noisier than I thought but amazing how much air it can circulate. Fans like these should be placed in every new built house , in geographic locations where climate permits effectiveness. The fan exceeds my expectations so far

Although it’s not as quiet as I had hoped, it is very well designed and is still quiet enough for my kids to sleep with the ceiling register right outside their doors. It took me about 2 hours to install. No electrical work required, Plugged straight into a standard 110v outlet. I’m using a smart outlet to be able to turn it on or off remotely.

We ha e a 2400sq/ft house. The fan is way overkill for this size house however I knew it was. The main reason I got this one was because of the amount of cfm on low. This efficiency model is 164 watts at 4304 cfm. At .1055 cents a kilowatt (my rate i pay the electric company) thats 1.7 cents an hour. Thats less than 42 cents a day if you run it ALL day. For fun we filled up the bottom floor with a Halloween fog machine so think you couldn't see in front of you more than 4 feet. With 2 windows opened down stairs and the fan on high, it cleared the house of fog in 4 mins. If you want to save on your energy bill in the spring and fall months. This is highly recommended. Like I said. Get a efficiency model that will pull the air flow you need on low. I believe you will be glad you did. Oh and as far as noise. On high it sound like the ac is running. (Our unit is in a closet) just a real low hum. On low you dont every notice it. You have to stop and see if its on.

After I installed the unit I tried it out the following week. Outside temperature was 65 °f, the inside temperature was 79° f and dropped to 70°f in a matter of 15 minutes approximately.
I'm very impressed.
Key thing is that you need to multiple your total sq ft 3 x. So the 3100 unit is great for a 1000 sq ft home.

Enjoying the fan

This unit keeps our 1500sq ft condo nice and cool in the evening and throughout the night. You can hear it a little on low and it’s more of a mechanical sound than the fan spinning, seems normal though.
AC comes on much less frequent during the day and it’s really only towards the late afternoon when it’s needed even with outside temps in the 90’s.
Rated so so on value. It’s a fan some flexible ducting and and metal box and grate. So $900 bucks and another $800 for less than two hours install? I did it myself. Hardest part was finding a suitable area on thE attic that was full of pipes, wiring, heating etc.
