Features
- Simple to Service
- Inspecting and maintaining a WGO is incredibly simple. Between the swing-away burner door and the quick-open top panel, the WGO is always accessible. Weil-McLain uses a recessed target wall design to protect the unit from flue brushes during cleaning.
- Captured Seals
- Silicone-coated fiber ropes are used for sealing the boiler sections. These seals expand and contract with the boiler, keeping the unit watertight and preventing contaminants from entering your system.
- Venting Flexibility
- WGO boilers have two vent connections, one on the rear and one on the top. By providing an alternate venting set up, Weil-McLain has ensured that the WGO is suited for a variety of installation conditions.
- Efficiency-Boosting Insulation
- Heat retention is critical to energy efficiency. Heat leakage represents energy use without any comfort gains. An extended, insulated steel jacket prevents heat from escaping the WGO and improves the efficiency.
Over the last 130 years, Weil-McLain has built a reputation of designing some of the most reliable boilers in the marketplace. Their dedication to producing lasting heating solutions is seen in every boiler they make. The WGO is a flexible, durable, oil-fired heating solution for hot water systems. Efficient energy use is a high point of the WGO's design, allowing you to make the most of your energy dollar. Weil-McLain knows the value of longevity, so they used cast-iron for WGO boiler sections. Between the high efficiency, durable construction, and flexibility, the WGO excels both as a replacement boiler and as an addition to new construction.
Product Note
This boiler does not include an oil burner. Please see the Accessories tab for compatible burners if you require one.

Products that use combustion (burning) of fuel to create heat also create potentially dangerous gasses that need to be exhausted (AKA "Vented"). Depending on the product, venting can be done via a chimney, through a side wall, or use a second vent to provide fresh air to the appliance.

Everything went as planned

The boiler shipped per the agreed date, I also ordered a burner and a couple zone valves , they arrive first. The Delivery of the boiler was awesome , the trucking company in my case was R&L with lift gate service. I was worried about this because of the weight (450# plus) the driver called a 1/2 hour prior to arriving as I requested and I met him with dolly's and straps ready for a tough move .He had a pallet jack , already had the boiler on a larger skid to fit the jack and moved it in my garage within 5 minutes .

The boiler was dropped off the lift, hit the ground and only had superficial damage. I am more than satisfied with the quality of workmanship and design. No runs, no leaks, no problems.
