A durable cast-iron heat exchanger makes the Ultra Oil a reliable hydronic heating option with fantastic longevity. Ultra Oil boilers may last a lifetime, but they certainly don't take that long to set up. Pre-wiring the control terminals is just one of measures taken by Weil-McLain to provide a simple, straightforward installation process. Bringing efficiency, durability, and ease of use together in a single package, the Ultra Oil is perfect for all oil installations.

Innovative Heat Exchanger Designs
The Ultra Oil has a three-pass heat exchanger with extra wide flueways. This design has been refined by Weil-McLain for 65 years. Three-pass design provides improved heat transfer area and energy utilization. Wider flueways prevent blockages and make maintenance simple. The result is a clean, efficient heat exchanger that keeps you comfortable.
Captured Seals
Silicone-coated fiber ropes are used for sealing the boiler sections and heat exchanger. These seals expand and contract with the boiler, keeping the unit watertight and preventing contaminants from entering your system.
Streamlined Installation
The Ultra Oil is an installer-friendly boiler. A reversible front door allows the unit to be placed against wall without obstructing access. The side panels of the Ultra Oil are interchangeable, which cuts down on installation missteps. Finally, all connections for piping, wiring, and venting are consolidated and easy-to-access at the rear of the boiler.
Flexible Venting
Weil-McLain has worked hard to ensure that the Ultra Oil is fit for any installation. You do not have to have a chimney to enjoy the Ultra Oil; direct vent is also a possibility. With a direct vent compatible burner, vent termination kit, and flexible insulated pipe, the Ultra Oil can be vented conveniently through the wall.
Control Options
The Ultra Oil features a hinged pod at the top of the unit. This is used to view and access the external service switch and temperature/pressure gauge. An Advanced Features Module may be installed within the pod as well. The AFM is a optional boiler control that provides additional functionality to your system including two boiler staging, outdoor reset control, and DHW priority with override.
