Pricier than your average indirect water heaters however, you do get what you pay for in this industry. After reading reviews on the cheaper brands I decided that it wasn't worth the headaches and the reviews on these were very good. I have had my going for a week and what a difference in efficiency. Instructions were also well written and was and ease.

This unit was a perfect match for a low-height crawlspace installation, and allowed us to replace an existing 40 gallon with a 55. The unit is surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle, presumably due to its “advanced composite tank” but it feels solid and well made.
Installation was straightforward.
My only concerns are the price, which seems pretty high for such a simple device, and I found that the included electronic temperature control is off by about 10 degrees.
eComfort did a great job on quickly shipping the unit. It arrived within 3 business days, which was great because my customer was without hot water as we awaited it.

Excellent design, easy to repair or descale in the future. removeable heating coils, with access for cleaning. unlike any water tank i have dealt with.

This was a replacement for a Bradford White that had built obsolescence It was designed to fail. JUNK! This new Weil-McLain is impressive by comparison. The warranty is far above other manufacturers. I was very impressed with the construction and more impressed with the function. A few dollars more than some other brands, but well worth it. I wish I had bought this item the first go round. If so I most likely wouldn't be writing this review. I wouldn't have been in need of another water heater.. Quality in America still exists.. Bravo!

Not only was this unit more cost effective than the last unit I had its performance is far superior. No complaints of cold showers and recovers very quickly. Definitely will save on oil costs as well.

Received on time and friendly delivery. Had it installed over the weekend. About 1/10 of the weight of our other model. The digital temp sensor is great and easy to control.
Love the new tank and thank you eComfort. One negative was the directions for sensor are only for other Weil-McLain setups which i didn't have, but pretty easy to figure out even for a non plumber/electrical technician.
