- Safe Pilot Ignition
- With matchless pilot ignition, the guess work is taken out of lighting the furnace. By sealing the pilot and ignitor away from dirt and debris, the electronic igniter lights the furnace safely and reliably.
- Power Free Operation
- A lot of things can go wrong during a power outage, but your furnace shutting off is not one of them. It will continue to work even when you lose power.
- Efficient Draft Hood Design
- The side-relief opening draft hood is designed to pull draft air from the sides of the furnace to limit heat loss through the chimney.
- Vent Limit Safety Switch
- The vent limit safety switch is equipped on all Monterey furnaces. This turns off the unit in case the chimney is blocked, protecting your family from carbon monoxide and fires.
- Optional Blower
- An optional blower offering manual or automatic operation is available. This improves circulation of the warm air and reduces temperature differences throughout the room.
The Williams Monterey Wall furnace is an ideal solution for you space heating needs. The patented side relief draft hood design reduces heat loss and ensures that you spend less and stay more comfortable. Whether recessed into the wall or surface mounted using the optional free standing kit, the soft-white powder coated finish provides a discrete durable finish that blends into any home's decor.
Product Note
A thermostat does not come included with this unit and is required. The Williams P322016 thermostat is compatible and can be found under the "Accessories" tab. Alternatively, any standard millivolt thermostat can be used. Product dimensions reflect measurement of furnace coming out from the wall.

This unit was purchased to replace a 40-year-old Williams with the same specs. The unit arrived with a couple of bent louvers which were not too hard to straighten. The new unit has a better control valve and updated burner. There is also an over-temperature safety in the flu, which the old unit did not have. The rooms that this covers are heating much faster. installation took less than 1 hour. If I had help it would have been even faster.

I purchased a Williams Monterey - 35,000 BTU - Gas Fired Wall Furnace - NG - 66% AFUE - Single Sided to replace a similar Williams 35 BTU Wall Furnace that quit working after 30 Years! That's a long time. I thought that I was going to have a hard time replacing it. I was amazed how easy it was to complete this job. After removing the old unit and cleaning the space. The new model fit perfectly into the old space and I followed the directions to hook up the new model. turned on the gas, lit the Pilot light and turned the thermostat and the unit fired right up. It was so easy!

Hardest part of install was putting on the cover. Took us about 2.5 hours to squeeze the unit into the opening, move the LP feed pipe a few inches from where it came up through the floor, and another 45 minutes trying to fit the face cover on - kept hanging up on screw heads along the sides. This replaced a 1962 Montgomery Ward model and so glad Williams makes the same exact size for the hole in the wall! Really puts out nice heat. Don’t know why HVAC company wanted $2K for the job. Moderate handyman skills saved us over $1300 for under 4 hours work.

Good furnace for small space

Good furnace for small space or mobile home. It doesn't have a fan so heat will rise quickly but there is a fan accessory you can buy or if you have a ceiling fan that will help to disperse heat. I bought a back register kit to heat the bedroom located behind the furnace, which I highly suggest for any similar room situation. Overall, a good buy for the price point.

Our second Williams wall furnace, the first one lasted 25 years! It arrived in a timely fashion, perfect condition, easy to install. This furnace was $400 cheaper than a well known home improvement store and the shipping was free. Will do business with ecomfort again and recommend them to all.
