- Sealed Combustion
- Rather than using indoor air to fuel combustion, the Williams direct vent pulls intake air directly from the outdoors. This means the heat your furnace generates isn't fed back into the system, maximizing efficiency.
- Counterflow Blower System
- The Forsaire furnace has a counterflow blower system that takes air from the ceiling and blows the warm air at the floor. This allows for the heat to be evenly distributed throughout the room.
- Safe Pilot Ignition
- With matchless pilot ignition, the guess work is taken out of lighting the furnace. By sealing the pilot and igniter away from dirt and debris, the electronic igniter lights the furnace safely and reliably.
- Vent Limit Safety Switch
- The vent limit safety switch is equipped on all Forsaire furnaces. This turns off the unit in case the vent is blocked, protecting your family from carbon monoxide and fires.

- All Vent Materials Needed for a 9" Thick Wall
Safety is no worry with this furnace, having a matchless pilot igniter and sealed combustion chamber requiring no inside air. Whether recessed into the wall or surface mounted, the soft-white powder coated finish provides a discrete durable finish that blends into any home's decor.
Product Note
A thermostat does not come included with this unit and is required. The Williams P322016 thermostat is compatible and can be found under the "Accessories" tab. Alternatively, any standard millivolt thermostat can be used.

This is the third Forsaire that i have put in rental properties, tho the one 40K BTU unit i just installed a few days ago might be a flip house, not a rental. Don't know yet. The packaging and shipping were great, the hard cardboard protected the furnace perfectly. since i live in an out-of-the-way area, there was a little confusion about exactly who to call to coordinate final delivery, and some miscues re: timing of delivery, but it was no big deal and luckily i was at the house early and delivery arrived early. Installation was straight forward... i wasn't sure of the proper setting for heat anticipator and i could not find that in the manual. So i just looked at one of my other Forsaire's. a 40K BTU unit i installed 5 or 6 years ago. I also installed a 60K BTU version of the same machine around 13 months ago, these seem to be real workhorses! Never had any problems. However, the one i installed a couple days ago, 40K BTU seems to have a problem with the push-button igniter. it just doesn't do anything other than click. But i was able to light the unit the old fashioned way and so far everything seems to be humming along. I don't consider the igniter problem to be serious enough to report it, especially since i don't know if i might have messed it up when i was fiddling with the unit by putting in the high altitude aperture. I don't have much recent experience with other brands when it comes to direct vent heating but i am confident to recommend the Williams direct vent units to anyone looking to get something like this. They seem to be very reliable.

Produces and distributes great amount of heat aided by its blower fan. Probably could have purchased smaller unit had I not underestimated how well it circulates the heat. It's provides heat to the 1015sqft. 1st floor of my two story house in a heart beat. My only issue so far is with the installation booklet not being product specific. Can be confusing if you don't pay strict attention to your specific unit install.

my old uunit was about 40 years old and i only had to replace about 3 thermocouples in that time. only reason i replaced it was thae gas vavle was suspicious..

This unit is made of quality metal. Easily snaps in place. It sends heat to the right and left and in the front. I received it very fast the fastest that I have received any ordered item. The price was competitive. And it was in stock most places had to order it before I could get it.

had one for almost 30 yrs
its a very good heater and effecient also warm air comes in at top and blows out bottom so dont have to warm cold air
only thing on this new one it makes a viberation noise when it goes on the high speed
