- Safe Pilot Ignition
- With matchless pilot ignition, the guess work is taken out of lighting the furnace. By sealing the pilot and ignitor away from dirt and debris, the electronic igniter lights the furnace safely and reliably.
- Power Free Operation
- A lot of things can go wrong during a power outage, but your furnace shutting off is not one of them. It will continue to work even when you lose power.
- Efficient Draft Hood Design
- The side-relief opening draft hood is designed to pull draft air from the sides of the furnace to limit heat loss through the chimney.
- Vent Limit Safety Switch
- The vent limit safety switch is equipped on all Monterey PLUS furnaces. This turns off the unit in case the chimney is blocked, protecting your family from carbon monoxide and fires.
- Optional Blower
- An optional blower offering manual or automatic operation is available. This improves circulation of the warm air and reduces temperature differences throughout the room.
- Dual Room Heating
- Install the furnace in the wall between rooms and enjoy heat in both rooms with one unit.
The Williams Monterey PLUS+ Wall furnace is an ideal solution for you space heating needs. The patented side relief draft hood design reduces heat loss and ensures that you spend less and stay more comfortable. Whether recessed into the wall or surface mounted using the optional free standing kit, the soft-white powder coated finish provides a discrete durable finish that blends into any home's decor.

A thermostat does not come included with this unit and is required. The Williams P322016 thermostat is compatible and can be found under the "Accessories" tab. Alternatively, any standard millivolt thermostat can be used.

I bought this to replace an old Empire unit that had the same vent type and dimensions. It was packaged and shipped well- not a dent in the box. The furnace guy installed it in less than 2 hours without issue. The pilot light is quiet but it is really loud when it heats... sound like a wind tunnel. People have commented it is a calming sound albeit loud lol. It heats really well- quickly. It has my 1000 sq ft home in about 10 minutes and the cover does get hot. Since my heater is on a slightly higher level, I can see right inside the unit. The grill has larger square openings and I did prefer the look of the other cover. I would use that if I knew it would be safe, but with the heat output I think I'll stick with the cover it came with. Also, the power went out a few days after the installation and I WAS able to use it, which is very comforting in the area I live, as the power goes out a lot during the winter. The best features are the heat output and not needing electric.

The heater is absolutely perfect! I have a 1000 sq for cottage and it heats the entire place. The only downside, it was damaged on one corner inside the box

I normally don't give all 5 star reviews but. I purchased this unit and two of the accessory fans to replace an identical 30 year old unit. Everything shipped on time. The fans came regular carrier and arrived quite soon, the furnace came freight and was right on time. The product came in excessively sturdy packaging and arrived with no damage. eComfort price was well under any competitor and shipping for everything was free including the liftgate for the furnace. They also gave updates throughout the shipping process so there were no surprises.

Good furnace for small space or mobile home. It doesn't have a fan so heat will rise quickly but there is a fan accessory you can buy or if you have a ceiling fan that will help to disperse heat. I bought a back register kit to heat the bedroom located behind the furnace, which I highly suggest for any similar room situation. Overall, a good buy for the price point.
