Williams 6802 Reviews & Ratings

The Best of the Best.

I replaced a 20 year-old propane wall heater with this beauty. I was drawn to it for several reasons, the most important being that it would work even if our electric power went out, which it is known to do every month or so. The millivolt thermostat that utilizes the tiny amount of electricity generated by the heater itself is an amazing development in this world. Though the blower will not function without electricity, the heater will passively generate heat and keep my remote home livable.
It has no standing pilot flame which I find to be a favorable attribute - no worries of a flame being blown out or the concern that while I'm gone for weeks on end, there is a pilot flame toasting away. This unit uses a piezo electric pilot that pops on when the thermostat says to. Thus, energy saving, too.
My installers did a masterful job and I love the fact that this wall heater has a back vent. It pushes heat out the back of the wall that it is installed in and heats the neighboring room as well as it heats the primary room that it is mounted within. Cool as .... you know.

Like everything about this but the chain for adjusting vent a knob or handle would be better.
