This part put my sump system back to where it needed to be - quiet and efficient. The flex coupling with worm gear clamps made connections easy, and the dual diameter versatility allowed these couplings to line up properly. The great design job that Zoeller did with this part gives me confidence that it will last for many years to come, just like their pump is already doing for me. Thank you for your service.

Just replaced a 5 year old unit. The old one was still in good condition Only changed because it like changing an oil filter when you change the oil.

This is a must have on all your sump pump installations. Really high quality and stops the back flow of already pumped water. This valve will save you money by reducing pump activation's for already pumped water.

Appears to be cracked and leaking in my 2 year old house. Thought it was leaking around the couple, but realized it's cracked on the underside. Now I get to replace it...super fun.

Reading through one of the previous Q&As, you wrote that the check valve is generally installed about 1/2 - 2/3 up the vertical section of the discharge line (assuming 5'-10' vertical section). Why so high? I've seen a few installations where the check valve is right near the base of the line. Don't know which way is better.
