The packaging/shipment leaves much to be desired! Pump system arrived quickly but the 2-inch discharge pipe was broken where it screws into the pump. Had to remove pump from the container, work at getting the broken piece out of the pump, and buy and replace broken pipe with new. Required extra time to go to the hardware store and expense. The package system must have taken quite a hit/knock at a warehouse or during shipment for the 2-inch pipe to have broken.
Also, I ordered a Zoeller riser holes to attach the riser did not match up. Needed 8 bolts and 4 screws but the package when sent had 4 bolts and 8 screws. Had to make another trip to hardware store.
Finally have the system installed and it appears to be working very well. With the problems I had, I have a hard time give it an excellent rating. But, on the other hand, to have taken the hit it apparently did and to work as well as it seems to says something for the quality/performance of the pump.
Regarding price, after ordering the pump, I did find good pumps and containers for much less at local hardware businesses--they just didn't have all the pieces put together.

I am very satisfied with this product. Pre-drilled input and output holes with grommets very helpful. Only had a negative experience when I needed an additional riser. First order showed up as a small box with bolts and sealant strip! No riser! Called Sump Pumps Direct and they ordered a no-cost replacement. 10 days later still no riser! Tracking says today for delivery. I hope so! Customer is holding up my final payment over this. Ugh!

Great product but come on guys, I ordered a pre-assembled unit so I would not have to get the parts and do that work. A few packaging peanuts are not going to hold that 50lb pump in-place. The discharge pipe sticks out and guess what, the shipping companies don't care. I had to replace the pump to discharge pipe connector because it snapped. The pump was literally upside down. Advice...pick this up yourself.

Came as a nice package, ready to drop in the ground and hook up. Electrical cord was plenty long to get to an outlet. Got it all hooked up with incoming sewer pipe and discharge pipe in short amount of time and run tests. Filled by hose, when the pump ran it hummed and dropped the water level in seconds. When I reinstalled the lid and ran it we could hardly hear ANY NOISE.
Only issue was trying to find a vent for the lid that they show in the install instructions. In California they just looked us, so we just made our own.

I was very surprised how efficient my recent purchase is, I bought a sump pump/lift station for my RV after installation I simply plugged it into a power source and it performed flawlessly, I don't even hear it running and very minimal power drainage. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.A real dollar value investment.

Pump is not anchored to bottom of basin, but stays in place during operation. Has worked flawlessly in the month it has been in operation. Side discharge piping makes access into basin easier, no obstructions to cover removal.
